Getting Started

Welcome to FullMetalScan! This guide will help you get up and running with vulnerability scanning in just a few minutes.

1Create Your Account

To start using FullMetalScan, you'll need to create a free account:

  1. Click the "Get Started" button on the homepage
  2. Enter your email address and create a password
  3. Check your email for a verification link
  4. Click the link to verify your account

That's it! You're ready to run your first scan.

2Understand Your Free Plan

Every new account starts with our Free plan, which includes:

  • 3 total scans - Use these to test our service
  • Basic CVE detection - Scans against the last 30 days of vulnerabilities
  • Email notifications - Get notified when scans complete

Need more scans? Upgrade to Pro for unlimited scanning.

3Navigate the Dashboard

Once logged in, you'll see your dashboard with these main sections:

  • Dashboard - Overview of your recent scans and statistics
  • Run Scan - Start a new vulnerability scan
  • Scans - View all your past and current scans
  • Reports - Download PDF reports of your scan results
  • Settings - Manage your account and subscription

Pro Tip

Before running your first scan, make sure you have authorization to scan the target. Only scan systems that you own or have explicit permission to test.
